Imagination - (Vision Beyond Appearances) - This is my latest CD. This project is dedicated to, inspired by and in honor of the Spiritual Energy of Divine Imagination. When all is said and done, there will be a collection of 12 CDs, each representing one of the Spiritual Energies. Imagination was recorded live at the famous Collector's Cafe in Myrtle beach, SC. The artwork for the cover of the CD is an oil painting painted especially for me by Thomas Davis, a fast rising artist and sculptor. The live original pieces on this CD include: Celtic Journey (The Pony Song)- LIVE SOLO CELTIC PIANO PERFORMANCE- A live solo piano piece with a slow Celtic foggy hillside sort of sound to start and a sort of thunderous herd of wild horses music to finish. Simplicity - A pleasingly disturbing, delicate and suspensful piece with a refreshing happy ending. Really spacious feel. Open fields... Waltz - Keeping it simple. Self defined by title. A haunting minor 3/4 time piece with a mind catcher built around fingers faster than lightning and a 'hang you there for a while' feel. Music of Imagination - The really cool crossing one hand over the other hand technique makes this piece actually sound like two piano players playing at the same time. And real eyecandy on stage. Arms flying around...a trip to watch. So Many Places To Go - An interesting piece built around a main theme/groove thing with room for answers. Live performance are seldom quite the same as the gig before. You Name It - I wrote this piece with the intent to inspire the listener's own imagination in order to give the piece a title that he/she feels best represents the song. So when I get a file up to listen to you can do that. Where Does This Take You? - This piece also calls upon the listener. This time for a description of the journey the piece provides. An Improvisational Life - This piece was the result of me asking the crowd at the live recording performance to give me a key for a new song. The crowd chose D minor. So I made up some D minor stuff. Vision Beyond Appearances - This solo piano piece is also found on the mothership CD, Music That Heals, representing the Spiritual Energy of Divine Imagination.
